Runners Profile
Name: Steven McMurray
Age: 36
Hometown: Sheffield
Run: Coast to Coast Run
Date: 6th - 11th May 2010
Reason for Support: I wanted to raise money for Weston Park Hospital and more specifically the teenage cancer unit as I know of the great work they do; the difficulties that the patients and their families are under and the strain that it can be on the staff of the ward. So when this opportunity came up I was keen to support the work of the unit in helping young adults deal with this terrible disease.

Supporter story: Barnsley runner, Andi Large, knew just how she would make her treasured place in the London Marathon count. Her aunt Julie, who was recovering from treatment for breast cancer, was raising money to say ‘thank you’ to Weston Park Hospital. “I was the legs” says Andi. “My part was to do the run while Julie went around with the sponsorship forms getting the money in”. Between them they made a great team and raised £3,000 for our charity
